About Mariel Bildsten
Mariel Bildsten started playing the trombone in fifth grade. After high school, she moved to New York City to pursue her jazz studies at The New School and has been performing in the greater New York-New Jersey area ever since. Bildsten will lead a quintet playing her arrangements of songs by Kenny Dorham, Horace Silver, Duke Ellington, as well as some Mariel Bildsten originals.
