About Alexander Lo
Alexander Lo, 25, is pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music, where he also completed his previous education (B.M. ‘17, M.M. ‘19).
From Washington Township, New Jersey, Alex owes much of his musical development to Professor Natalya Antonova, with whom he currently studies, and Professor Veda Zuponcic of Rowan University, his mentor throughout high school. Most recently, he was a participant in the 2020 Chautauqua Online Piano Festival, as well as a finalist in the 2019 Chautauqua Piano Competition and MTNA National Young Artist Competition.
In addition to teaching both Class Piano and Secondary Piano lessons at Eastman, Alex works as the Graduate Head Resident in the Eastman Student Living Center to promote community within the residence halls. He was inducted into Eastman’s chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda in 2017.
This program is made possible through funding from the Ocean County College Foundation.
