Alexander Timofeev
Please note, this event has moved to the Grunin Center Main Stage. Seating remains General Admission.
Alexander Timofeev, Philadelphia-based composer and pianist, presents Alexander Scriabin’s Third Sonata, and other piano works by Bach, Mozart, Tkach, and Timofeev. Among the highlights of the program are also Mozart’s lesser-known Fantasy and Fugue in C, K. 394, an opus that occupies a unique place in the composer’s catalogue. The recital will culminate with Fantasy on a Theme by Mozart – a dynamic suite of eclectic character pieces merging music, dance, and narration, featuring Rowan faculty dance artists Dr. Leslie Elkins & Paule Turner, and poems by Janet Fishman (Philadelphia).
